Dana manages Sunwood’s subdivision assets and analyzes potential acquisitions and dispositions. He performs market analysis for highest-and-best use decisions and valuation purposes. He also supervises entitlement work.

Prior to joining Sunwood, Mr. Kuhn managed the Real Estate Valuation Department at The Corky McMillin Companies. He monitored real estate markets, coordinated appraisals, and valued properties for internal decision-making and property-tax purposes.

In past careers, Dana has been a construction manager, a commercial property manager, a commercial real estate appraiser, and a high-school teacher. Dana has a Bachelor’s Degree in Journalism from the University of California at Berkeley and a Master’s Degree in Education from San Diego State University. He spends much of his leisure time teaching real estate development at SDSU and creating extra-curricular real estate learning opportunities for students. Dana is a devoted sports fan and an Aztec Basketball season ticket holder.
